May 2017

As a fine art destination wedding photographer I consider it my priority to constantly be learning. And seeing as I am shooting more and more destination weddings I decided to travel to Guadalajara in Mexico to attend what is widely considered to be one of the best fine art destination wedding photography workshops in the world taught by Jose Villa, a veteran film photographer who has and continues to take the wedding industry by storm…

I was lucky enough be a part of this week and meet some incredibly talented photographers and learn from Jose and his team of wedding industry leaders who I’ve followed on social media for ages! Getting to meet them and shoot their work was a dream!
I’ll be adding film photography to my workflow going forward and can’t wait to share more with you! Film photography is so elegant, so flattering to skin tones and has a real nostalgic feel to the end photos.

So if you’re getting married abroad and want to make sure you’re photographer speaks your language and is able to make you comfortable don’t hesitate to get in touch here, I love to travel and have quit e a few destination weddings booked for this year. I don’t charge extra to travel (I just ask that my travel expenses are covered). If you weren’t already convinced on why having a destination wedding was a good idea, the guaranteed sunshine is one huge one for starters!
