‘ I attended Julie’s workshop in September via knowing Faye Cornhill. I’ve attended previous workshops and I can honestly say that Julie’s workshop has been ABOVE AND BEYOND the best I have attended. Right from the booking stage, I found Julie’s approach was warm, friendly, inviting, enthusiastic, inspiring and encouraging. After my initial booking, I came home from work one day and found a handwritten letter on my door mat. To my delight there was a personal “thank you”note handwritten by Julie to thank me for joining her Nordic Way Workshop. For me its all about attention to detail that goes a long long way, so this gesture from Julie made me feel that she was really grateful for me joining her workshop. The workshop was held in the most stunningly part of London Holland park and the venue was very impressive! After meeting some lovely, ladies who we had already gotten to know as Julie had previously joined us all up on a FB group, which was great because we then didn’t feel like strangers?
DAY 1…. Julie invited some impressive ladies from some great companies like Maddy Jones from Making your Business Shine on ESO, Faye Cornhill Coaching Business /Photographer on pricing and marketing, Louise Perry from Louise Perry Weddings networking and how to work with wedding planners. I was actually blown away by the skills and knowledge of these women and what they shared with us was priceless information. Julie herself also gave us a talk about how and when it all started for her. She also shared her own personal experiences and difficulties that she dealt with and it’s encouraging to know that we’re not the only photographers how struggle to build new businesses.
DAY 2…….. WOW…………… this was such an impressive day, the amount of effort, planning and the commitment that went into organising this day was unbelievable and very impressive. This was such a truly magical day for us!
On top of all this the food provided was just delicious! Seriously I can’t recommend Julie’s workshop highly enough, I would 100% look to book with Julie for her 2nd workshop, but message to Julie…….you have set the bar so high, its going to be tough to follow!
Well done girl, you have done yourself proud! Thank you so much for all your hard work, dedication and effort in getting this workshop together, something tells me you’re going places girl!’

‘The Nordic Way Workshop was amazing, it was full and compacted with prestigious guest speakers from the Wedding Industry, these ladies are leaders in their field, I learnt a lot from each and everyone of them, this information, is priceless. Thank you so much for giving so much. Listening to you all with your wealth of knowledge in itself was out of this world and so very valuable for taking my business even further. The second day shooting the gorgeous fine art styling was incredible, having this fine art styling is great for my portfolio to encourage my brides to adapt this wayof thinking when getting ready and having their weddings.I have been on several course and this was definitely one of the worthwhile and enjoyable ones, Julie is very approachable and lovely and a very good host and networker.I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to start or grow their business. Also the group of people behind the scenes and those fellow course members are the most lovely, kind and giving bunch of people, I certainly came away with friends for life, and contacts which i would never of had the good fortune to have ever had met – another invaluable reason for investing and coming on this course!!
I have come home with the love of the Nordic Way, and will try and take this through in many areas of my life, not just my photography… a life game changer!!
Well done Julie on your first workshop, you smashed it girlfriend !! xoxox’.

‘ Wow, what a workshop – I have met many a talented photographer who unfortunately have a high opinion of themselves and to my relief Julie was very incredibly humble and self-deprecating. On arrival I was welcomed personally by Julie and my nerves were put at ease.
There were inspiring guest speakers discussing SEO and business set-up – I left inspired with a much more positive mind set. Julie shared so much of her own experience and knowledge which I found invaluable.
The second day was comprised of a stunning photo shoot which was impeccably styled and I am still dreaming about the beautiful flowers. There is an opportunity to direct the models and shoot beautiful images for your portfolio. I initially felt nervous doing this in front of other photographers, all the attendees where so welcoming and by the end of the day I felt very comfortable directing the models.
Quite frankly worth going for the healthy delicious lunch spread alone!’

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for everything! I am super happy that I managed to attend the workshop; I really feel energised and inspired again! I feel more refocused, and I am now in the process of preparing my rather long winter-to-do-list…I loved the way you managed to create a warm, friendly and safe environment for everyone and that you made sure everyone was happy throughout the two days. It was very welcoming and inclusive!
The communication about the workshop was very well organised
I think the location worked very well (what an impressive place!) and I am glad it was in London. I am not sure if I could have attended if it is a more remote place
I liked the presentation/ talk you have done as well as the other speaker; very interesting and inspirational!
