Fine art wedding photographer | Spring London Engagement Shoot

With this spring London engagement shoot I hereby promise to stop talking about Corona Virus, lockdown & the such like. Because I don’t know about you but I am BORED of it all.

I’ve been through all the emotions of the ‘corona-coaster’ and I think I’ve come out the other side with a real need to change the narrative and start a new conversation!

So if you’re here, welcome! And if you’re finding me for the first time, thank you for joining me in this little corner of the internet where I ramble and post photos, forever in the search SEO rankings so that clients may find me, get to know me, hopefully like me and hopefully book me to capture their wedding day.

The wedding industry is FULL to the brim of cliched phases like ‘Your Big/ Special Day’, ‘I just want to capture your special day’, ‘I was born with a camera in hand’ etc etc. I don’t say this be…grouchy, I’ve used all those phrases myself, you’ll see them scattered about my website and instagram like pick n mix but after having shot weddings for about 7 years now I find myself at a crossroads. I’ve shot over 100 weddings and I’ve been awarded some lovely recognition of my hardworking by being mentioned in articles about the top 45 UK Wedding Photographers & as one of the Top 100 Wedding Photographers in the UK which is a lovely thing indeed.

But so what do you need to know about me?

Well gosh where to start…ok well I used to work in hedge funds earning 6 figures but quit because I wanted to do something more valuable with my life, something more creative and I wanted to be in charge of my own destiny.

I am married to Ross, we were married in Tuscany & we have an almost 2 year who we nicknamed Pudding.

I live in Wimbledon but was born in Denmark, to Danish & German parents, and grew up in the Northwest (Cheshire) from the age of 3.

I studied philosophy and theology at Durham University and have always had an affiliation towards the big questions, the deep conversations and meaningful relationships.

I’m an introvert and being behind a camera suits me very well.

I’m professional, I take my job very seriously but I do things with a smile and I think how you say somethings as important as what you say.

I like nice people. Kind people. Genuine people. Non-flashy people. People who look you in the eye when they talk to you.

I’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for your wedding photographer, so that we can see if we’re a match for one another but in the meantime please do enjoy this recent spring London engagement shoot with a very cute fluffy dog!
