Often I’ll be booked to photograph not just the wedding day itself of a destination wedding weekend but the welcome dinner & the post-wedding brunch / survivors lunch / pool party too. And I absolutely LOVE it when couples turn this into a a beautiful celebration and experience for their guests! Often guests have gathered from far and wide to celebrate the happy couple so treating them to 3 celebrations in one weekend is the ultimate wedding invitation!
This fun couple from NYC chose to celebrate in the south of France, Provence with the help of White Eden Weddings & quite frankly this gorgeous farewell brunch / pool party rivalled the design and style of many a wedding day itself!!
Part of the reason I love a destination wedding is that it spans over a couple of days, to really maximise the celebration and gives the bride and groom multiple opportunities to mingle and party with their guests. All too often if the wedding day is a one day affair, many couples will come away feeling like they didn’t have enough time to spend with their friends, as there were so many people to greet!

Their wedding was featured on my favourite blog Style Me Pretty too!
